Recognizes March 10th, 2020, as National Women and Girls HIV/AIDs Awareness Day. This resolution is intended bring awareness to the unique ways in which HIV/AIDs impacts women and girls in the United States, including the approximately 235,000 who are living with HIV.

This bill would instead require a person to affirmatively agree to become registered or preregistered to vote during a transaction with the Department of Motor Vehicles before the Secretary registers or preregisters that person.

This bill would also require the State Department of Health Care Services to amend the Medicaid state plan to include a certified peer support specialist as a provider type for purposes of the Medi-Cal program and to include peer support specialist services as a distinct service type for purposes of the Medi-Cal program
